Join us on October 24-26, 2011 for Museums & Mobile III, an online gathering of museum professionals sharing their practical experiences in the delivery and management of their mobile interpretation projects.

The Pre-Conference will be held on October 24, 2011. Join us for two exciting workshops.

  1. Creating Fantastic Mobile Content
    This practical 75 minute online workshop will focus on how to create fantastic content for mobile experiences.
  2. Producing Amazing Audio Content In-House
    This practical 75 minute online workshop will focus on practical guidance and skills for recording high-quality audio in-house. We’ll explore how to choose the right equipment, record, edit, choose locations, voice talent, and share other production tips for making in-house production affordable and successful.

The online conference will be held on October 25, 2011 and includes four interactive sessions and one un-conference session. Each conference session is based on short, practical case study presentations by different institutions, including: Museum Fine Arts Boston, Detroit Institute of Art, Alaska Native Heritage Centre, Norton Simons Museum and many more.

The Museums & Mobile Virtual Expo is a one-day completely online trade show for museum professionals interested in deploying mobile experiences and creating mobile content. It takes place on October 26, 2011 and is free and open to all.
