Education Development Center, Inc. is an international, non-profit organization with more than 335 projects dedicated to enhancing learning, promoting health, and fostering a deeper understanding of the world.

For more than four decades EDC has been a pioneer, building bridges among research, policy, and practice. EDC's award-winning programs and products, developed in collaboration with partners around the globe, consistently advance learning and healthy development for individuals of all ages. Today, EDC manages 335 projects in 50 countries. Their work strengthens nearly every facet of society, including early child development, K-12 education, health promotion, workforce preparation, community development, learning technologies, basic and adult education, institutional reform, and social justice.

The LearningTimes Network is home to an online EDC Conference Center, which is the hub for online collaboration among members of EDC's projects from across the globe. The EDC Conference Center community is affiliated with other LearningTimes Network communities, including the ICT Literacy site.
